New Years Eve
2019
“We meet when we were 13 years old through mutual friends. A few years after college we found ourselves at the same party with all the same mutual friends and we hit it off!”
Frankie and Paige got married in Chicago Illinois on NYE. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding, and honestly their whole presence was such a joy to be around. Their first dance was to “Lover,” by Tswift [I’ve been waiting for this moment since that song was released], but what was unique about it, was their attitudes. Paige changed into a white jumpsuit with a flowing cape. They didn’t make the dance boring or sentimental.. they had fun.
Frankie was throwing Paige around the dance floor and the entire room was just full of joy and laughter. After that, Paige danced with her father which had the exact same playfulness, and then DANCING QUEEN came on and Frankie and his mom jumped, skipped, and danced with joy vs to something slow. It was honestly the most memorable moment to me, but also really filled everyone’s heart with joy.
They had donuts that suited every dietary need, and their company they surrounded themselves with just created an eventful night.
My goal is always to tell stories when I post, through my images, not text. So I could definitely lay this out to be more ‘artistic,’ but at the end of the day I just want you to feel what I was feeling, and experience the day for what it was. In this case, perfect, and a tad chilly! haha
