Anna + Tommy

December 30, 2018

Wedding photographers see many different families, different relationships, different aesthetics a year. Even those of us who take on 30-40+ weddings a year can tell you that every wedding is different.
Some family is close, some is distant.
Some mothers are distant from us, some take us in on their son or daughter’s wedding day.

The moment I arrived at this wedding, Anna’s mom walked up to me, asked if I was Paige, told me that she loved all of my work, complimented me, and told me she couldn’t be happier that it was me documenting the day. Instantly this made my heart explode, and I felt so so humbled and excited to be there.

Can I share a goal of mine from every wedding?
Every wedding it is my mission to make mom and dad’s, grandparents, family love me. It’s actually incredibly important to me.
I want those around me to feel at ease, to laugh, and to find me relatable.

If you have ever seen me, I am tattooed, my head is half shaved, and I’m just kind of weird [lol]. So Grandparents usually stay away from me because I look too ‘progressive.’
But this family, I tell ya, this moment just stuck with me. I try not to write on blogs too much for my bride and grooms because over all people just want to see the images. But, from the moment I meant Anna and Tommy I had nothing but good feelings and excitement.
Their love is just SO INFECTIOUS I cannot take it.

From their chill brewery / lake engagement images, to their relaxed and genuine wedding day… I have to say that 2018 ended so beautifully for me.
All three weddings that I photographed on the 29, 30, and 31 couldn’t have been more beautiful, happy, and refreshing.
