Jake and Ashley got married on a perfect lil Saturday in July. They had been planning this wedding from California, and I actually got to meet them for the first time on the Monday before their wedding, during their engagements we had to postpone for a bit due to distance, and then weather.
These two actually had gotten married at a court house prior to this, but were waiting for the moment to celebrate it with family and friends. These two have had quite a history and have known each other for years before tying the knot. These weddings are some of my favorite to photograph because the couple is so invested in their support system. It was so important to them for me to photograph their guests and interactions – and because of this importance, their actual full gallery is full of these moments that feel small, but are large when we get to look back and revisit them in imagery. This day was beautiful and so much fun – I’ll share too many images, per usual.
