I’ve done many shoots with Liv – but I had a few new lenses I’ve purchased and an idea revolving around Taylor Swift I wanted to do. So I reached out.. again, for some help to create some work. Both Liv and I are pretty involved with the swifterhood [lol]. This week is my birthday week, and typically I do NOT celebrate, but as I turn 30, I decided to do something a bit extra for myself. So this is the first idea of the ‘blue’ album that you will see tied to my work this week – but don’t worry, there are a lot more references coming later. From cats, to RED, to Lover, I’m really going all out this year <3
This shoot started off as more of an inspiration of Speak Now mixed with Fearless – but as I was shooting it was really giving me Folklore and Evermore Vibes, so, the images in the field to both Liv and I feel a bit like Fearless, Taylors Version. The time she is recording, putting her more mature voice on a track, reliving the past but not in anger- but in growth and content.
