Casey and Doug got married on the most perfect Friday afternoon out looking the beach. It was the first time I had a full wedding at Camp Blodgett and it did not disappoint. Casey and Doug really let me create and have fun making Wes Anderson like film-styled portraits. We had the sweetest first look and vow readings, portraits, and then was able to do portraits during a softer light later in the afternoon as well as official sunset – which doesn’t happen often during weddings.
The perk of doing a wedding outside is the light is constantly tempting couples to sneak away during sunset [lol] – typically I get golden hour with my couples and then send them back so they can enjoy their party but Casey and Doug kind of got both lighting scenarios and it was just perfect.
