This wedding was absolutely the perfect blend of emotions and simply enjoying the day. I had the pleasure, in the past, to teach Lauren photography at Grand Valley State University. She took the course as a non-major but instantly stuck out to me as a hard worker, an intelligent person, and a dedicated learner. I adored all of her art, and was so honored when her name showed up in my inbox to document her wedding.
James and Lauren had some of the most sincere and sweet vows I have gotten to witness. From learning from one another, to making each other more compassionate and heartfelt with consideration to people and animals around them. We had a very warm day, but they, and their guests, powered through the heat to celebrate their wonderful new phase in life.
